Controversial Joan Rivers Wakes up from Com

Rabat - Controversial comedian, Joan Rivers, is still fighting for her live after she underwent throat procedure last Thursday.

Doctors say her condition remains “serious.” The American celebrity who suffered heart and respiratory arrest last Thursday, remains under medical sedation.

River’s daughter released a statement Sunday saying: "Thank you for your continued love and support," Melissa Rivers said in a statement today. "We are keeping our fingers crossed."

According to the New York Daily News, doctors at New York’ Mount Sinai Hospital lifted River’s medically-induced coma on Sunday.

The same source added that the waking up process will take until Tuesday and might leave the comedian either as “as either a vegetable or in a wheelchair.”

The 81-year old native of New York was the target of harsh criticism in August after she made a controversial statement about the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

While the world public opinion expressed wide sympathy towards the civilian population in the Gaza who came under heavy attacks from the Israeli army for 50 days, Rivers put the blame on the Palestinians.

“You’re dead, you deserve to be dead. You started it. You started it. Don’t you dare make me feel sad about that” Rivers said in a clip published on U.S. entertainment website TMZ.

“They were told to get out. They didn’t get out. You don’t get out, you are an idiot. At least the ones that were killed were the ones with very low IQs,” she added then.

Rivers was forced to backtrack after the controversy sparked by her statement.

Saudi Arabia Plans to Destroy Prophet's Tomb, Move it to Anonymous Grave

Taroudant, Morocco- The tomb of the Prophet Mohamed, under the Green Dome in the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia, could be “destroyed and his body removed to an anonymous grave”, according to U.K.'s Independent.

The same source said that a 61-page consultation document, by a leading Saudi academic, has been circulated among the supervisors of al-Masjid al-Nabawi Mosque in Medina.

The controversial document outlines plans for destroying the dome that hosts the tomb of the Prophet Mohamed, one of the holiest sites in the Muslim world, and moving the Prophet's remains to an anonymous grave.

According to the Independent, the reason the Saudi government wants to carry on this plan is to prevent what they regarded as “shirq” or idolatrous practices by some worshippers who “turn towards the tomb to pray”.

At a time when religious tensions are high in some Islamic regions, Dr. Irfan al-Alawi, Director of the Islamic Heritage Research Foundation, has warned that any alterations to the holy sites could spark unrest.

“People visit the chambers, which are the rooms where the Prophet’s family lived, and turn towards the burial chamber to pray,” he was quoted by The Independent as saying.

“Now they want to prevent pilgrims from attending and venerating the tomb because they believe this is shirq, or idolatry,” he said.

“But the only way they can stop people visiting the Prophet is to get him out and into the cemetery,” he added.

Morocco Ranks 66 on “Where is the best place to be born?” Index

People walking in Essaouira, Morocco

Marrakech - The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) publishes a survey each year based on the question “where is the best country to be born?”

The index of countries has also become an indicator of standard of living. Morocco ranked 66th, on par with India and Tunisia, tied for 59th, after Iran, and before Egypt.

The leader in the index is Switzerland, followed by Australia and the Scandinavian countries.

The where to be born index, 2013

The commentary accompanying the index admits that changes in financial security and the economy mean that some countries have fallen back, like the US, which moved to 16th place. Residents in Detroit have had their water cut off because the city is bankrupt. Figures for employment have improved, but the United States and Europe are both still suffering the effects of recession and their economies are very fragile. Banks face an uncertain future and unemployment is still high; worse in Southn than in the North. But indicators change: salaries are increasing in Japan after of years of no growth.

One of the indicators both for the best place to be born and live is education, because a child’s education is so important. By general agreement, Morocco’s education system requires reform, and this perhaps explains why Tunisia has a higher score in the index. Hospital services are also an important factor, and Morocco’s medical services need to improve, according to popular opinion.

By other standards, Morocco can be assessed far more favorably. Public transportation, road, rail, and air links have improved proportionately over the years. The Moroccan middle class has grown substantially. New industries, such as automotive and aeronautical construction, are doing extremely well, but unemployment amongst the young is still historically high. Job opportunities are limited. Only ten percent of the population has a pension. Salaries are very low for many.

However, Morocco has avoided the banking crisis afflicting Europe and the US, and its banking sector appears stable. Morocco is seeking new markets in the Middle East and Africa and remains economically versatile. In terms of quality of life, climate stability, and family life, Morocco should score highly. It has a relatively secure environment compared to its neighbors in terms of terrorism. Family, religious stability, and an overwhelming support for Morocco’s monarchy heavily boost Morocco’s score.

Of course the EIU’s index continues to follow a Western mindset that does not recognize the impact of changes such as the global recession. The situation in the United States for even part of the middle class is dreadful. Some in the US live on limited salaries, are unemployed, and have insufficient pensions. States that once boasted dynamic economies with thriving business classes can now be said to have failed their populations. Even Switzerland has had no growth in the second quarter, according to the BBC. Germany’s economy is also suffering. Heavy taxation and no salary increases bite deep, and the climates are rainy and cold. The rest of Europe is in a far worse state, with an increasing phenomenon of food banks for those who cannot afford food prices. Therefore, there are several important factors which could help in Morocco in the EIU’s index in the future if the study can overcome its Westernized bias.

Spain Considers Banning the Burqa

the burqa

Rabat- Spanish Minister of Interior Jorge Fernandez Diaz said on Wednesday that Spain would consider banning burqas (the full-face Islamic veil) as part of a package of planned new security reforms, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

The Interior Minister, who was speaking at a press conference, said that the ban on Burqas could be included in Spain's Citizen Security Law. A draft bill that is yet to be passed in the country's parliament will include provisions banning people from hiding their faces in demonstrations, he added.

Other European countries, such as France and Belgium, have already prohibited the wearing of Burqas.

Diaz added that his Ministry could rule against the wearing of Burqas and other full-face veils on the grounds they made identification of people difficult. "I don't want to say a ban is necessary, but this could be a good moment to consider such a prohibition," the minister said.

Catalonia's regional government said in July that it would push for a ban on burqas after the European Union ruled recently that banning the full-face veils in public did not violate the human rights of Muslim women.

The Interior Minister of Cataluña’s autonomous government said at the time that the move had nothing to do with religion and would also include a ban on the public wearing of head and face coverings such as helmets and masks.

Many influential Muslim figures inside Spain voiced criticism to the Burqa banning bid describing it as "unnecessary" because its use is not widespread in Spain.

Saudi Scholar Claims that ISIS is Backed by Western Intelligence

Rabat - Saudi Shura council member Dr. Aissa Al-Ghaith has said that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), recently named Islamic State (IS) is backed by international intelligence agencies, likening the terror organization to a sacrifice sheep which is being fattened in preparation for slaughter.

In an interview with Television channel Rotana Khalijia, Al-Ghaith who is a member of the consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia, an advisory body whose 150 members are appointed by the Saudi Monarch, accused the intelligence agencies of key regional players, including Iran and Iraq in addition to the American intelligence of funding and arming ISIS.

Al-Ghaith said that the withdrawal of Iraqi forces from Mosul and other areas leaving their arms and military equipment in the process was a tactical maneuver by the Iraqi Army to allow ISIS extremists to seize the weapons. He further claimed that the Islamic State haven't targeted neither Iran nor Israel, which, according to him, indicates the terrorist group's allegiance to them.

The Shura council member pointed out that the so-called Jihad ISIS are talking about is nothing but a fake Jihad which is being employed by a group of extremists and outsiders who did not support Islam for the last thirty years.

He added that these practices are only giving colonial powers argument to go back to the region.

Taroudant- Around 120 million girls around the world, nearly one in 10, have been subject to rape or sexual abuse by the time they turn 20, a new UN report has found. The report shows that the most common perpetrators of sexual violence against girls are current or former husbands, partners or boyfriends. The 206 pages report entitled “HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT A statistical analysis of violence against children”, prepared by UNICEF, draws on data from 190 countries in order to shed light on a largely undocumented issue, the physical and sexual abuse of children. Susan Bissell, the Chief of Child Protection at UNICEF said in interview that the data essentials show that “if there is one common aspect of human society right now, it is the fact that tremendous violence is committed against children.” According to the report, “Sexual violence’ is often used as an umbrella term to cover all types of sexual victimization, including exploitative as well as non-exploitative forms.” "These are uncomfortable facts -- no government or parent will want to see them," said UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake. The same report said that sexual violence is not limited only to poor countries, but worryingly high rates of abuse are reported in some high-income states. According to the Rotherham child abuse report published by the Independent, 1,400 children subjected to 'appalling' sexual exploitation over 16-years.

Taroudant- A group of influential imams and scholars based in UK has issued a Fatwa, religious edict, prohibiting (haram) British Muslims to fight alongside Isis extremists in Iraq and Syria.

The Muslim imams and scholars condemned the “oppressive and tyrannical self-styled Caliphate,” IS, formerly known as Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, stressing that, in line with the Islamic teachings, it is Haram (prohibited) for British and European citizens to fight with any side in Syria.

“British and other EU citizens are bound by their duties to their home countries according to Islamic theology and jurisprudence: it is therefore prohibited (haram) to travel to fight with any side in Syria, including non-state actors, since this is forbidden by laws in EU countries,” the Fatwa said.

In a seven clarification points Fatwa, published on Sunday Times, the leading British Muslims condemned the “so-called Islamic State”, calling all Muslims to “oppose its poisonous ideology.”

"IS is a heretical, extremist [organization] and it is religiously prohibited (haram) to support or join it; furthermore, it is an obligation on British Muslims to actively oppose its poisonous ideology, especially when this is promoted within Britain," the group wrote.

According to the independent, the Fatwa was drafted by Sheikh Usama Hasan, a former east London imam, who opposes religious extremism and now head of the Quilliam FoundationIt. The Fatwa endorsed by the head imams of Leicester and Manchester Central Mosques.

In a press conference posted on YouTube, David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, said the threat posed by IS is ‘greater than ever’ saying that the UK Government has raised Britain’s terror threat from "substantial" to "severe".

French Comic Dieudonne Ridicules Beheading of James Foley

Rabat- French comic Dieudonne is under investigation by the French authorities after he released a controversial video in which he mocks the beheading of American Photojournalist James Foley by ISIS extremists last month.

In the video, Dieudonne, who has a history in causing controversy in France mostly because of his comments seen by many to be anti-Semitic or his arm gesture which is believed to be a disguised Nazi salute, ridicules the wrath of the West and Western presidents including US president Barack Obama, French president Francois Holland and UN chief Ban Ki-Moon over James Foley's decapitation.

"I think decapitation symbolizes, before anything, progress, access to civilization," he said in the video. "In France, we decapitated people in front of the massed, on the public plazas."

Dieudonne says that the execution of Libya's Muamar Gaddafi who was "killed like a dog" and the hanging of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein did not spark the same anger as the one caused by the killing of James Foley.

"The Rothschild Mafia says no, that's okay, but James Foley, that's too much," he said in a reference to the Jewish banking family.

According to judicial sources, the Paris prosecutor's office had opened an investigation on Wednesday on grounds that Dieudonne also known as M'bala M'bala condoned terrorism.

Dieudonne is reportedly owes the French state more than 65,000 euros in fines related to earlier anti-Semitic remarks. He is due to appear in court next November for making an internet appeal to crowdfund the payment of his fines, an act which is illegal under French law.

He emerged again to make worldwide headlines in January when French football player Nicholas Anelka made the arm gesture invented by the comedian following scoring a goal to his then English club West Bromwich Albion.

Anelka received a 5 games ban following the gesture.

Morocco’s Acima Supermarkets to stop selling alcohol beverages

Marrakech- The World Health Organization says in its latest on alcohol consumption that Moroccans are more exposed to the risk of liver cirrhosis or road accidents than other North Africans. The report says that Moroccans drink an average of 0.9 liters of alcohol per year, slightly higher than average in the eastern Mediterranean region.

Tunisia drinks more alcohol than Morocco at 5.7%, with Morocco at 5.4% and Algeria tops the bill at 9.3%. Approximately 91% of Moroccan men and 97% of Moroccan women do not drink alcohol.

The element of free will is an important part of Moroccan life. Morocco is a Muslim majority country, and Islam forbids alcohol consumption. However, there are bars in the Ville Nouvelle which are frequented by Moroccans who mainly drink beer. Moroccan wine is enjoyed by tourists and Moroccans alike. You can see Moroccans buying wine and beer in liquor stores. Alcohol is also available in supermarkets like Acima, Carrefour, and until recently, Marjane.

[1] [2] [3] Regular alcohol consumption is more common in Western countries, and the truth is that tourism in Morocco would be seriously damaged if alcohol were banned. The fact that Moroccans do drink is an indication that free will does exist in a Muslim country[4] . [5]

Morocco stands out in the Maghreb for its stability and the welcome it extends to all who are visiting the country. Moroccan wines are excellent and are seeing even more effective cultivation and development by French and Moroccan wine makers and making significant profit both for themselves  the Moroccan economy.

6 Homosexuals, including 2 Moroccans, Seek Asylum in Melilia

Taroudant, Morocco- Lesbians, gays, and bisexuals are more likely to have long-standing mental health problems and have unfavorable experiences with the UK National Health Service than their heterosexual counterparts, a new survey has found.

One of the largest surveys of homosexuals in England, the study analyzed data from over two million people. Researchers from the RAND Corporation, the University of Cambridge, and Harvard Medical School found that “Sexual minorities were two to three times more likely to report having a longstanding psychological or emotional problem than their heterosexual counterparts.”

According to the survey, close to 11% of gay men and 15% of bisexual men reported having a long-lasting mental health issue, compared with 5% of heterosexual men.

Funded by the Department of Health in England, the survey also found that lesbians, gays, and bisexuals are twice as likely to have worse experiences with their general practicioner (GP) than heterosexuals.

According to Professor Martin Roland, Director of the Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research, “The survey shows that sexual minorities suffer both poorer health and have worse experiences when they see their GP.”

“We need to ensure both that doctors recognize the needs of sexual minorities, and also that sexual minorities have the same experience of care as other patients,” He added.

These longstanding psychological or emotional problems are not more common only with the Lesbians, gays, and bisexuals in England Similar health problems were diagnosed in the sexual minorities in the US.

“We know that sexual minorities in the United States have health problems similar to those we see in England and also face stigma, prejudice, and discrimination,” said Dr. Marc Elliott, a principle researcher at the RAND Corporation.

Despite the growing recognition of LGBT rights worldwide, and the approval of same sex marriages in many countries, sexual minorities still face major “health complications”, according to the survey.

Self-styled 'Sharia Police Officers' Try to Impose Islamic Law in Germany

Rabat- Police in the German city of Wuppertal are reportedly investigating a case of a group of men who call themselves the "Sharia police."

The group has been observed patrolling the streets and urging Muslims living in the German city to refrain from things like drinking or gambling or any sort of entertainment that would contravene the Islamic teachings.

According to German media reports, the group which consists mostly of young men, was observed walking around the main train station and other areas in Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia, in western Germany. The self-styled police were wearing orange traffic safety vests with the words "Sharia police" written in English on the back.

The young men, who are believed to be followers of Salafism, have been seen distributing leaflets urging people to refrain from alcohol, drugs, gambling, attending concerts, watching pornography or visiting prostitutes.

The group has also declared a nightlife area of the city of 340,000 to be a "Sharia Controlled Zone."

"Intimidation or provocation won't be tolerated," Wuppertal Police Chief Birgitta Rademacher was quoted as saying by Deutshe Welle on Friday. She further said that only police appointed and employed by the state have the legitimate right to act as police in Germany.

The German Government has strongly condemned the nightly patrols by the self-imposed Sharia police.

"Sharia law is not tolerated on German soil," Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere told German daily newspaper Bild on Saturday. "Nobody can take it upon themselves to abuse the good name of the German police."

Justice Minister Heiko Mass also told Bild that the state alone is responsible for the administration of justice in Germany. "Any Illegal parallel system of law enforcement would not be tolerated," he added.

The Muslim community in Germany did not seem to approve of the Sharia police. "These few teen yobs do not speak in our name," Ayman A. Mazyek chairman of the central council of Muslims in Germany told the Tagesspiegel am Sonntag newspaper and was cited by Deutshe Welle.

"These people are perverting the name of our religion. With this shrill and foolish action, they are really hurting Muslims," he added. Officials say that 1,800 people are part of the Salafist scene in the North Rhein-Westphalia area, with ten percent of the members considered to be violent extremists.

The German Salafi movement was responsible for the 2012 campaign to distribute 25 million free copies of translated Coran, the holy book of Muslims, into German homes.

MIDEAST ISRAEL NEW IMMIGRANTS

Rabat- The rise in anti-Semitic sentiment has seen the Jewish community in France leaving the country for Israel in unprecedented numbers.

According to a leading Jewish group, more Jews have left France to Israel so far this year than from any other country, blaming a "climate of anti-Semitism to be the reason behind this "New Age" exodus of the French Jewish community.

"France is today the leading country for Jewish emigration to Israel. It has never been before," Ariel Kandel, head of the French office of the Jewish Agency for Israel was quoted as saying by Le Figaro.

Kandel based his statement on figures from the Israeli integration Ministry, which shows that, as of August 31, 4,566 Jews had left France for Israel so far in 2014, ahead of Ukraine (3,252), Russia (2,632) and the United States (2,218).

"We will get close to 6,000 departures from France in 2014," said Kandel, adding that it's about one percent of the total Jewish community in France, which is estimated to be around 500,000.

"In the Western or free world, we've never seen one percent of the Jewish community leaving to Israel," he added. France is home to the third largest Jewish community in the world behind Israel and the United States.

According to the same source, a climate of anti-Semitism that spiked in the wake of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza Strip and economic difficulties in France, are believed to be the main reasons behind the emigration of the Jewish community.

Taroudante- Former Facebook employee Susan Johnson created a woman-only social network where women can discuss freely their matters including “careers, relationships, parenting, products, and more,” the social network women.com says.

The Women.com, a new social network exclusively for women, is still on invite-only beta stage.

The social network is created with the aim to offer a space for women to delve into their world without the interference of men.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Women.com, INC, hopes to provide women with a private and exclusively women space for a “safe community” and real-like conversations.

Except for transgender men who identify as female, men have no right to access this network! ‘We’ve had a couple of men try to break in, and we just escort them out,’ says Johnson.

Trying to highlight the need for such social media platform, Susan Johnson said “Women dominate all these social platforms online—we’re 58 percent of Facebook and 84 percent of Pinterest—but our offline conversations aren’t matching our online conversations.”

While the new women-only social network will revolve only around questions and answers raised by users, Jhonson “hopes to see women starting conversations about articles they find interesting, or events they want to create, or books they’re reading and want to share with the greater community, and forming microcommunities around different topics that interest them.”

Sufism: Remembrance of God, Love and the Company of the Saint

Sufism in Morocco. Photo by Omar Chennafi

By Nassim Chaoui Ghali

Rabat - Nowadays, we hear of Sufism often. While many claim that the word “Sufism” is invented, others claim that the origin of the word traces back to Roman and Greek culture.

Nevertheless, the concept of Sufism, at times translated as mysticism, refers to everyone following the path of the prophet’s companions who used to meet at the prophet’s mosque. These followers read the Holy Qur’an, discussed law and remembered God. According to Ab¬ Hurayra, the Messenger of God (may God give him blessings and peace), said: God, ever mighty and majestic is He, says: “I am with my servant when he remembers me and when his lips move in mention of Me.”

Sufism is an honorable science or the so-called science of truth. It is love for others; Sufism purifies our souls from soils, polishes our hearts from rust, and connects servants with their creator. Its essence is to follow the religious law (Sharia) and resort to God in every situation, without neglect of obligation or approach toward a wrong deed. Sufism is the status (Maqam) of perfection (Ihsan) in Islam. It displays the third floor of the Islamic building which consists of three floors, namely: Islam, faith and perfection (Ihsan). The proof of this is explicitly stated in the famous Hadith of Gabriel. A narration attributed to Abu Hurairah reports:

"One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, "What is faith?" Allah's Apostle replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, "What is Islam?" Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you." Then he further asked, "When will the Hour be established?" Allah's Apostle replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents.

1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.

2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of tall buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.

The Prophet then recited: "Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour--." (31. 34) Then that angel (Gabriel) left and the Prophet asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet said, "That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion." Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of faith." Sahih al-Bukhari, 1:2:48

Sufism (TASAWWUF) indicates the spirituality of Islam or in other words the interior truth (HAQIQAH). This is why the interior reality of Sufism characterizes the practices of the ascetics of the first generations even though the term ‘Sufism’ was not then in use. It is consequently easy to understand the remarks of Hujwiri; ‘Today Tasawwuf is a name without a reality whereas it was a reality without a name.’ Hujwiri adds: ‘at the time of the Companions [Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) Companions] and their successors this name did not exist, but the reality which it indicates was known by each one of them.’ (Abu Hassan Al-Fushunji (Died 318)

Sufism is based on the religious law (Sharia) and Sunna as Imam Al Junaid Al Baghdadi once said: “Our path to Allah is regulated by Sharia and Sunna, whilst the way to Allah is closed before his servants, except for those who follow the traces of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him”. Besides, Sid Hamza, the master of the Tariqa Qadiriya Boutchichiya, defines Sufism using the following verse: Sufism is enjoying what the prophet orders to do, and avoiding what he forbade.

Last but not least,, people who are responsible for Sufism, have set pillars which allow people to recognize, and there are three: companionship, love and remembrance. God, ever exalted is He, says: “He who pretends to love me and neglects me is a liar. Does not every lover seek to be secluded with his beloved? “I am He who is completely aware of my lovers when they picture me before them, address me in contemplation and speak to Me in My Presence. “Tomorrow I shall make their eyes delight in My Gardens.”

Ultimately, the Tariqa Qadiriyya Boutchichiyya is a continuation and a renewal of living Sufism today, which:

1- Guides people to know their Creator. 2- Urges people to be more merciful and tolerant. 3- Spreads love and respect amongst people. 4- Strengthens the links of Brotherhood and Peace amongst people. 5- Instils higher moral values, thereby improving people’s behaviour. Moroccan Woman Joins ISIS with Her Four Children and French Husband

Rabat - The French police are investigating the case of a Moroccan woman who is believed to have left the country with her French husband and four children including a 1 and a half month old infant in order to join the ranks of Jihadis in war-torn Syria.

The woman, identified as Jihane Makhzoumi from the Villefontaine town in the region of Rhone-Alpes, reportedly left France with her husband Eddy Leroux, her two daughters from a previous marriage, their one month and a half old baby and her husband's 3-years-old daughter Jana from his Moroccan ex-wife Ilham Tarbouni.

Tarbouni told the French media that her daughter Jana went missing since late August.

She said that her ex-husband Eddy, a Muslim convert who changed his name to Zayad, told her that Jana will be travelling with him and his new wife Jihane to Morocco.

Rabat - A Moroccan immigrant in Italy is reportedly facing jail for pedophilia, after he allegedly cheek kissed a 7-year-old girl on her face.

In Morocco, cheek kissing a child may be an act to show kindness. But, the same act can lead you to prison, in Italy.

The police of Treviso, Northern Italy said officers have detained a 50-yearo-old Moroccan immigrant on suspicion of sexually abusing minor children, after he cheek kissed a 7-year-old girl, Hespress’ correspondent in Italy reported.

According to the same source, the Moroccan immigrant was arrested after the child’s parents filled a law suit against him, stressing that he attempted to rape their daughter.

The parents said that their daughter was riding her bicycle near their house, when the Moroccan immigrant, who lives in the same neighborhood, kissed her on her cheek, although the girl did not allow him to.

This is not the first time a Moroccan immigrant faces pedophilia charges for kissing children. Last year, another Moroccan immigrant was detained for attempting to rape a child, after he allegedly cheek kissed an infant.
